The crew, who are all men, are scheduled to blast off in 2027 to test systems ahead of a planned Moon landing.

Nasa reveals crew for Artemis III mission

Nasa has revealed the four men who will crew the next Artemis mission as part of its drive to put human beings back on the Moon by 2028.

Mission specialists Andre Douglas and Frank Rubio will join pilot Luca Parmitano, of the Italian Space Agency, and commander Randy Bresnik for the planned 2027 launch.

Though this crew will not land on the Moon or go anywhere near it, Nasa says their mission will provide crucial data as they test systems that will be used for future Moon landings.
